THE FAPPENIGN PLAY BOY MODEL KATIE MAY
Playboy model and social media star Katie May died after chiropractor 'tore neck artery' while working on injury
Katie, who was dubbed the 'Queen of Snapchat', was just 34 when she passed away earlier this year
Less than a week before her death, Katie - who had modelled for Playboy and Sports Illustrated - tweeted that she had pinched a nerve in her neck when she took a nasty fall during a photoshoot and had planned to see a chiropractor.
"Pinched a nerve in my neck on a Photoshoot and got adjusted this morning. It really hurts! Any home remedy suggestions loves? XOXO," she wrote.
Katie, who has one seven-year-old daughter, saw the chiropractor on Friday and suffered a stroke on the Monday.
According to TMZ, it was the chiropractor visit that left her with an injury that ultimately led to her death.
Her death is listed as accidental and they report that it's unclear if her family intends to pursue legal action.
Following her death, her brother said in a statement: "It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the passing today of Katie May - mother, daughter, sister, friend, businesswoman, model and social media star - after suffering a catastrophic stroke caused by a blocked carotid artery on Monday."
