Nicole Kidman Reflects on Marriage to Tom Cruise: "I Was So Young"

Even though she's happily married to Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman is reflecting on her marriage to Tom Cruise, whom she married in 1990. Only 23 at the time, the Australian actress can't believe how young she was when she said, "I do."
"I was so young when I got married. I look back now and I'm like, 'What?' " she told the U.K.'s Red magazine. "You look at Taylor Swift I mean how old is she? She's 26. I had two kids by the time I was 27 and I'd been married for four years. But that's what I wanted."
Kidman and Cruise met on the set of Days of Thunder, and she once described her marriage to him as "perfect" before it suddenly fell apart and resulted in divorce in 2001. The former couple adopted two children, Connor Cruise and Isabella Cruise.

Typically, she prefers not to discuss her first marriage. "Any time you have a chance at something again is good, but each combination of people is different. I was a baby when I married Tom, but I don't regret any of it. But out of respect for Keith I tend not to discuss any of that now," she told U.K. newspaper The Evening Standard. "Be the best you can be, not the worst, and think of the children."
A few years after Cruise and Kidman called it quits, she met and fell in love with the country crooner, with whom she just celebrated 10 years of marriage.
To commemorate their big day, Urban shared the first photo that they have together. "Our very first photo together 2005, minutes after being introduced to each other," he captioned the pic. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY. LOOOOOOOOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxx - KU."

He also FaceTimed Kidman and their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, during his concert in Boston. "The show ended and the lights went out and when he came back out for the encore, he was holding his phone out for the crowd to see and the camera was on his phone. Nicole was in the car with the kids!" concertgoer Amanda Walker told E! News exclusively in June. "The crowd went crazy when they actually realized who he was FaceTiming with."
When Kidman picked up the phone she was in the car with their two kids. "I love you baby," he told Kidman. "I'll call you soon."
