march commenced at Pieter Roos Park in Johannesburg

WATCH: We want basic services, we want corruption to fall Editor's note: This live event has now ended. You may watch a recording of the proceedings in the gallery above.

The march commenced at Pieter Roos Park in Johannesburg and was in response to the Constitutional Court’s ruling that found President Jacob Zuma liable for the cost of non-security upgrades at his private Nkandla home.
The court found Zuma and Parliament violated their mandates by not implementing the public protector's remedial actions.
The DA says it wants to highlight the importance of the judgment.
