Another baby for Bachelor nation! Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum welcomed their first child, son Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, the reality stars confirm exclusively to Us Weekly.
"Both mom and baby are doing great and we are so so happy to welcome little Fordy to the world!!!" Rosenbaum told Us. "Cutest little baby on the planet!"
Baby Fordham weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 oz, and measured at 18.5 inches. Us confirmed in March that the season seven Bachelorette, 29, and Rosenbaum, 37, were expecting their first child together. One month later, the proud couple revealed their baby-to-be's gender via Twitter.
Hebert hinted that baby Rosenbaum's arrival was drawing near when she posted a sideways selfie of her big bump this past Friday, Sept. 26. "Sometimes I surprise myself," the dentist wrote. "This has to be the last weekend!!?!!? #frontheavy #bbayr."
Like his wife, dad-to-be Rosenbaum also updated fans on Hebert's pregnancy late last week. "Soakin' in these last moments with my gorgeous wife & the #Rosenbump," he wrote Thursday, Sept. 25, alongside a snap of the mom-to-be receiving a checkup at a hospital. Earlier this month, the couple also revealed that they had taken a "Newborn 101" class to learn the basics of first-time parenthood.
In July, Hebert celebrated her pregnancy with an intimate baby shower in NYC. At the time, the parents-to-be still remained undecided on their baby's name. "The good thing is that J.P. and I have very similar taste in names, so hopefully we can finalize soon," Hebert told Us, adding that they were happily prepping for their child's arrival."It's been so fun organizing all of his outfits and gear," she gushed to Us. "I've been shopping for baby clothes ever since I found out I was having a boy, and let me say, this baby will have to do multiple outfit changes in order to wear everything once." Hebert and Rosenbaum's love story unfolded on her Bachelorette season, which aired in spring 2011. After an emotional season, Hebert chose Rosenbaum as her final suitor, and he proposed with a 3.5-carat ring in Fiji on the May 2011 finale. The two got hitched in December 2012, and their wedding later aired as a special on ABC. The happy couple now live in New Jersey.
